Hi guys!
Watering your garden may seem simple, but when and how you water makes a big impact on your plant’s health. Understanding the right techniques prevents water waste and ensures your plants thrive.
Morning vs. Evening Watering: What’s Best?
Watering in the morning is ideal because it allows moisture to reach the roots before the heat of the day causes evaporation. Evening watering is an option but comes with risks – moisture sitting on leaves overnight increases the chances of fungal diseases and the roots remaining we for extended periods of time could result in root rot.
How to Water Efficiently
Deep watering encourages stronger root systems, while drip irrigation delivers moisture directly to the roots. A layer of mulch locks in hydration, reducing the frequency of watering sessions.
